An example of score with an “All Perfect”title and an “S” grade

Scores are the points earned after completing songs.
The score shown in the song selection menu is the highest score players have received to date and will be changed to a higher score if a new best is achieved.
The result screen (shown to the right) displays the overall performance of the player and the player’s accuracy for the song. The maximum score for each song is 1 000 000 points.

  • Accuracy

Hitting a note at different times will result in different accuracy ratings, which can be indicated by the color and size of a diamond-shaped ring bursting out around the note. The more accurate the rating, the more score is given. Depending on exactly how early or late a hit was can change the score value of a note, which can cause two Perfect notes or Ok notes giving different score. The score goes from 90% to 70.8% for Perfect notes, in increments of 0.8%, and 70% to 20.4% for Ok notes, in increments of 0.8%. Max Perfect notes always give the same score (100%), and the same is true of misses (0%).

  • Title

If the player achieves a certain criteria after completing a song, they will receive a title for the song corresponding to said criteria.

Receiving a title will automatically set the grade to S and include a coloured glow (silver for Full Combo, gold for All Perfect).

Title Criteria Image
Full Combo Get no “Miss” rating throughout a song FC
All Perfect Get only “Max Perfect” or “Perfect” rating throughout a song AP

The combo counter can also help the player to determine whether a certain title is achievable by the end of the song.
